Add-on — on top of Standard

Sheet Metal

Fold a part from the flat. Build a tray, box, channel or bracket from a few numbers, or grow flanges, hems and jogs off an outline you drew yourself.

  • The whole part from its sizes, corners cut so it folds
  • Flanges, hems and jogs on your own geometry
  • The folded part in 3D — orbit, section, measure
  • Checks: corners that cannot fold, holes near a bend, flanges too short
  • The bend table, the printable shop traveller, and a cut file for the laser
Press-brake work only. Nothing rolled or curved — no cones, transitions or elbows.

Pricing FAQ

What are add-ons, and how do they work?

An add-on is a toolset for a particular trade that sits on top of Standard rather than replacing it. Sheet Metal is the first. You keep everything Standard gives you and pay for the toolset as well; it is not a higher tier, and you do not lose anything by not having it. Every add-on can be tried free for 14 days with no card, and when a trial ends your drawings stay exactly as they are.

How much does SnapCAD cost?

SnapCAD has two plans: Free (A$0/month) for evaluation and learning, and Standard for active users who need DWG and DXF save and export. Standard is A$19/month, or A$190/year with two months free. Local display pricing varies by selected currency.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. SnapCAD Free lets you open DWG and DXF files, use drawing tools, entity snap, and keyboard shortcuts at no cost. Saving and exporting DWG or DXF is available on Standard.

What currencies does SnapCAD support?

SnapCAD displays pricing in AUD, USD, EUR, CAD, and GBP. The currency is auto-selected based on your region and can be changed at any time.

Is there a contract or minimum commitment?

No. SnapCAD Standard is billed monthly with no annual contract, no seat minimums, and no vendor lock-in. Files stay in standard DWG and DXF formats compatible with other CAD applications.

What is the difference between Free and Standard?

Free includes opening DWG and DXF files, drawing tools, layers, entity snap, and keyboard shortcuts. Standard adds DWG and DXF save and export, enabling full round-trip workflows with desktop CAD and fabrication tools.
